Translation system

Your library, in several languages.

A multilingual interface, content tailored to your audiences and a team that stays in control of every translation.

Seven interface languages

Loupe includes interface translations in French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Luxembourgish. Your institution chooses which languages to offer visitors. Enabling a language does not automatically translate your content.

Your content, language by language

In the page, event and bookable resource editors, your team can write titles and text in the enabled languages. Each version remains editable so you can adapt information and tone to its audience.

AI suggests, your team reviews

When AI assistance is enabled, you can use an existing version to suggest translations for fields that are still empty. You review and select suggestions before applying them to the draft. Existing translations are preserved; publishing remains a separate step.

Your institution’s own words

Translation settings let you customize supported public interface labels by language for your organization. These overrides complement interface translations and remain separate from the text of your pages, events and resources.
